Subject: National Transit Institute (NTI) Transit Trainers’ Workshop 2008 Transit Training Awards Packet
Dear Transit Colleague:
The NTI is kicking-off the Transit Trainers' Workshop season with the announcement of the 2008 Achievements in Transit Training Awards program. Attached is a copy of the Nomination Packet. Awards include:
- The Model Program Award
- The Transit Training Professional of the Year Award
- The Champions Award
The Awards provide a unique opportunity to recognize excellence in transit training. You are invited to nominate individuals and teams for the awards by submitting the attached nomination forms. Self-nominations are welcomed.
The awards will be presented at NTI's Transit Trainers' Workshop to be held October 19-22 in Denver, CO. The workshop registration fee will be waived for individual award winners and one representative from award winning teams. Nominations are due by July 11, 2008.
