Subject: Federal Register Notice – FTA’s School Bus Operation Regulations; Request for Comments
Dear Transit Colleague:
FTA issued a Federal Register Notice on May 19, 2008 concerning the Notice of Proposed Policy Statement on FTA School Bus Operations Regulations. This notice is a proposed policy statement; request for comments. Through this notice, the FTA proposes to revise its policy with respect to “tripper service” and “school bus operations”. All comments must be received by June 18, 2008.
