FTA issued a Federal Register Publication on September 16, 2008 concerning the FTA’s School Bus Operations Regulations.  This is a notice of Final Policy Statement.  Through this notice, the FTA clarifies its policy with respect to its interpretation of “tripper service” and “school bus operations” under 49 CFR part 605.  This publication can be accessed at the following website:  http://edocket.access.gpo.gov/2008/pdf/E8-21601.pdf .
