The Partnerships for Progress in Rural Transportation is hosting their 18th National Conference on Rural Public and Intercity Bus Transportation in Omaha, NE on October 19-22, 2008.  The conference is going to offer multiple learning opportunities including:  planning and design; policy, funding and finance; rural transportation in today’s operating environment; technology; and special issues in rural transportation.  Jim Simpson, the FTA Administrator, will be the Special Guest Luncheon Speaker on Monday, October 20, 2008.
