Subject:  Federal Register Publications – National Transit Database Information

FTA issued three Federal Register Publications on August 6, 2008, August 12, 2008 and August 14, 2008 concerning National Transit Database information.

 

The August 6, 2008 publication announced the adoption of certain amendments for the FTA 2008 NTD Urbanized Area Annual Reporting Manual.  This notice provides responses to the comments received and announces the adoption of certain amendments for the 2008 Annual Manual as well as the adoption of some amendments to take effect for the 2009 Report Year.  This publication can be accessed at the following website http://edocket.access.gpo.gov/2008/pdf/E8-18090.pdf.
The August 12, 2008 publication was a notice of Proposed New Policy on Reporting of Coordinated Human Services Transportation Data to the NTD.  This notice provides interested parties with the opportunity to comment on changes to the FTA’s NTD policy on the reporting of coordinated human services transportation data.  This publication can be accessed at the following website:  http://edocket.access.gpo.gov/2008/pdf/E8-18388.pdf.
The August 14, 2008 publication was a notice of Proposed New Policy on Natural Disaster Adjustments for Urbanized Area Formula Grant Apportionment Data.  This notice provides interested parties with the opportunity to comment on the FTA’s NTD proposed new policy on natural disaster adjustments to NTD data.  This publication can be accessed at the following website:  http://edocket.access.gpo.gov/2008/pdf/E8-18939.pdf.
