Subject:  Federal Register Publications – Charter Service

 

Dear Transit Colleagues:

 

FTA issued two Federal Register Publications on August 1, 2008 and August 11, 2008 concerning Charter Service.  The August 1, 2008 publication disposed of the petitions for reconsideration filed in response to the FTA final rule on charter service published on January 14, 2008 and it also corrected the final rule by adding an authority citation, revised Appendix B and Appendix C, and corrected Appendix D.  The August 1, 2008 publication can be accessed at the following website:  http://edocket.access.gpo.gov/2008/pdf/E8-17487.pdf .

 

The August 11, 2008 publication was a correcting amendment.  The document of August 1, 2008 inadvertently failed to update the table in Appendix D.  The August 11, 2008 publication can be accessed at the following website:  http://edocket.access.gpo.gov/2008/pdf/E8-18444.pdf.
