Dear Transit Colleague:

 

Attached is a “Dear Colleague” letter from the FTA Administrator, James S. Simpson, concerning information on funding resources and technical assistance programs that may help your agency mitigate the impacts of the rising price of gasoline and diesel.

 

This letter has also been posted to FTA’s public website and is accessible on our homepage, http://www.fta.dot.gov/documents/Dear_Colleague_on_Gas_Prices_June_2008.pdf.  There is no required action this is merely an “FYI” that some grant programs and other resources exist to help agencies manage rising fuel prices.
