Subject:  TEAM User Steering Committee; Request for Information

Dear Transit Colleagues,

As you know, TEAM has been our system of record for the quite sometime.  Over the past couple years we have implemented numerous patches to accommodate FTA’s changing needs.  It is time for us to review our grant making, management systems and processes so as to implement a new system that will adequately and efficiently meet our needs.  To accomplish this task the FTA has established a new TEAM User Steering Committee.  This committee will assist in the examination, identification and evaluation of the different software systems that currently fulfill each of the components of the grant making/management processes.

In the next three to four weeks, we would like to solicit input from any TEAM user who is involved in inputting or retrieving data from the FTA’s TEAM system.  We would like to ascertain what new requirements or enhancements that grantees/users would like to see made in TEAM.  Please document this information and forward any comments/suggestions to the following Region III Representatives on the TEAM User Steering Committee:

· Karen Roscher, Transportation Program Specialist, Karen.roscher@dot.gov .
