Subject: National Transit Institute Course - Managing The Cost of ADA Paratransit
Dear Transit Colleague:
The National Transit Institute will be sponsoring a “Managing The Cost of ADA Paratransit” class in Baltimore, MD on March 5-6, 2008. After several years of full compliance with the paratransit provisions of the ADA, many transit systems are seeing continuing increases in cost. This two-day workshop will bring together participants from a variety of systems to compare experiences with managing costs and review available information about successful cost management methods. The workshop will make extensive use of information developed in projects conducted with support of the Transit Cooperative Research Program (TCRP). Additional information will be incorporated as needed to provide a complete picture of cost management options.
You can register for this class on-line at the National Transit Institute’s website at http://www.ntionline.com/ or by faxing in the attached registration form to (732) 932-1707. The contact person at NTI is Myrna Sirleaf. She can be reached at (732) 932-1700 ext 228 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Tuition shall be waived for federal, state and local government employees who work in transportation or related areas. There is a $300 fee for contractors and consultants.
Please feel free to distribute this throughout your organization as appropriate.
