FTA Office of Safety and Security is pleased to announce the State Safety Oversight (SSO) Program Schedule of Activities for FY 2008.  This attached schedule includes confirmed and tentative dates for the following:

State Safety Oversight (SSO) Program Audits,
Safety and Security Readiness Reviews (SSRRs),
Annual SSO Program Meetings and Workshops,
Transit Safety and Security Roundtables,
Maintenance Oversight Workshops and Track Worker Inspection Refresher Pilot Training Courses,
Transportation Safety Institute (TSI) Training Courses, and
Other Events of Interest.
 

Please note that this schedule is accurate through the end of October.  As requested by members of the SSO community during the 11th Annual SSO Meeting in Minneapolis, MN, FTA will be sending periodic updates to this schedule throughout the year.
