Subject:  National Transit Database Rural Training Session Notification

 

Dear Transit Colleague:

 

The National Transit Database is hosting a one day training session for rural reporters that will coincide with the APTA Annual Legislative Conference.  The session will be held March 14, 2007, at the Department of Transportation Headquarters building located at 400 7th Street, S. W., Washington, D. C. 20590 from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

 

FTA would like to extend this invitation to you and ask that you further extend the invitation to your sub-grantees.  FTA would appreciate receiving a confirmation from those who will be coming to the session as well as those who will be unable to attend.  For those unable to attend, a call-in number and copy of the training materials will be provided to allow all interested parties an opportunity to participate in this session.  Please have confirmations sent to Gary.DeLorme@dot.gov or Angela.Bell@dot.gov.

 

Please forward this to the rural properties in your state that receive FTA funding through your office.  In addition, please email a list of those who will be attending and those who do not plan to attend the training session to Gary DeLorme at FTA with a cc to Angela Bell.  Their email addresses are indicated above.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation and assistance.  This will be a very productive and extremely worthwhile training that will be of benefit to all.
