FTA and FHWA have issued a Federal Register Publication concerning the Statewide Transportation Planning/Metropolitan Transportation Planning. It was published in the February 14, 2007 Federal Register on pages 7224 through 7286. This is a final rule that revises the regulations governing the development of metropolitan transportation plans and programs for urbanized areas, State transportation plans and programs and the regulations for Congestion Management Systems. This final rule can be retrieved online through the Department of Transportation Docket Management System, http://regulations.gov. Click on simple search and enter docket number 22986 into the docket search area.
