FTA has issued a Federal Register Publication concerning the Notice of Final Agency Guidance on the Eligibility of Joint Development Improvements Under Federal Transit Law.  It is published in today’s Federal Register on pages 5788 through 5800.  This notice is the final agency guidance describing the eligibility of “joint development” improvement by interpreting the definition and operation of the term “capital project”.  This final agency guidance is the culmination of three notices issued by FTA, the first of which appeared in the Federal Register on January 31, 2006.  This notice can be retrieved online through the Federal Register Main Page, http://www.gpoaccess.gov/fr/index.html.  Enter page number 5788 into the quick search.
