FTA issued a Federal Register Publication concerning the Notice of Establishment of Public-Private Partnership Pilot Program and solicitation of applications. It was initially published in the January 19, 2007 Federal Register on pages 2583 through 2591. This notice establishes and sets forth the definitive terms of the pilot program to demonstrate the advantages and disadvantages of public-private partnerships for certain new fixed guideway capital projects (the “Pilot Program”). To be considered in FTA’s first quarterly review of applications to the Pilot Program, applications must be received by FTA on or before March 31, 2007. The notice can be retrieved online through the Federal Register Main Page, http://www.gpoaccess.gov/fr/index.html. Enter page number 2583 into the quick search.
