This notice provides information regarding the National Transit Database (NTD) reporting requirements for Tribes. Attached are two documents (2007 Tribal Transit NTD Announcement Letter and NTD Tribal Handout) which will clarify the requirements and options for Tribes, especially as first year grantees.

In subsequent years, regular reporting to the NTD will be expected of Tribes who are direct recipients of Federal Transit Administration (FTA) grants. The FTA issued Bulletin No. 07-62 titled NTD Rural Reporting Manual and Amendment in Reporting Notices on December 20, 2007. This Bulletin directs you to documents to assist in meeting these future reporting requirements. It is also attached for your reference.

For further information, please contact John Witmer at (206) 220-7964 or email john.witmer@dot.gov .

Sincerely,

/s/
