PROGRAM AREA:  Training

DATE:  October 12, 2007

Please click here for PDF version.

The bulletin 07-42, dated September 26, 2007, announced this workshop to be on November 7, 2007. Due to a conflict with the National Tribal Transportation Symposium, the date of this workshop has been changed to December 13, 2007

This notice is to inform those interested in the Tribal Transit Program that there will be a workshop sponsored by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) for anyone who has applied, is considering applying or has been a successful applicant for the Tribal Transit Program. The goal of this workshop is to have a better understanding of the post award grant requirements.

This one day workshop will be held on December 13, 2007 from 8:30 to 4:00 PM in the Henry Jackson Federal Building, 915 Second Avenue, Suite 3090, in Seattle, Washington.

The workshop will cover two major topics. The major emphasis of this workshop will be the requirements that a grantee must follow after the award has been made.  Secondly, we will cover the grant application process after a project has been selected through the competitive process.  This session will cover the items needed for a grant award, including entering the grant into the TEAM system and how to draw down funds through the ECHO system.

There is no fee for this workshop, but we request you register by December 7, 2007.

For more information or to register, please contact Bill Ramos at 206-220-4319, or email bill.ramos@dot.gov .

Sincerely,

/s/
