PROGRAM AREA: Safety and Security
The American Public Transportation Association (APTA) and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) are pleased to invite you to the October 2002 ITS Best Practices Workshop that will focus on electronic security and safety procedures and innovations in the context of Intelligent Transport Systems. This is the seventh in and ongoing series of workshops featuring current topics in ITS implementation and best practices from here and abroad. The workshop will take place at the Doubletree Rosemont Hotel next to Chicago’s O’Hare Airport, on October 17 and 18, 2002. The Regional Transportation Authority will be our local host.
