EPA National Clean Diesel Campaign ARRA Funding Available
The Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) National Clean Diesel Campaign is announcing Requests for Applications (RFAs) for the competitive portion of the $300 million in funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment of 2009 through the Diesel Emission Reduction Act (DERA). This funding will be available through three separate funding assistance programs:
1. National Clean Diesel Funding Assistance Program ($156 million total available) - applications due April 28, 2009
2. SmartWay Clean Diesel Finance Program ($30 million) - applications due April 28, 2009
3. Emerging Technology Program ($20 million) - applications due May 5, 2009
The available funding will be managed by EPA’s National Clean Diesel Campaign Program, however all submitted applications that include projects located within EPA’s Region 9 and 10 offices, which include in CA, AZ, NV, OR, WA, ID, AK, HI and the Pacific Islands, will be reviewed by EPA Regional staff. EPA staff is not able to answer any questions about this funding program, so please do not call staff directly.
