The National Transit Institute (NTI) is presenting a FREE course “Quality Assurance and Quality Control” ($300 for consultants and contractors) in four difference location and dates in 2009.

The objective of this two-day course is to provide an overview of the essential elements of quality assurance and quality control in transit projects and address the inter-relationships and balances among quality, costs, and schedules. This course will also review and expand upon the Federal Transit Administration’s (FTA) Quality Assurance and Quality Control Guidelines: February 2002 and address the various perspectives for quality from an owner, consultant, contractor, vendor, and user points of view.

This course will be offered to current and new transit professionals that engage in federally funded activities. It will be particularly beneficial for grantees, FTA staff, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
