Webinar Series Showcasing Integrated Corridor Management (ICM) Pioneer Sites (Seattle, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Oakland, San Diego, Minneapolis, and Montgomery County, Maryland)
The U.S. Department of Transportation invites you to attend a series of Webinars showcasing the eight Integrated Corridor Management (ICM) Pioneer Sites (Seattle, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Oakland, San Diego, Minneapolis, and Montgomery County, Maryland) and their results to date with the ICM initiative.
The Pioneer Sites are developing multimodal ICM strategies that apply new institutional and operational approaches and advanced technologies to existing infrastructure to help to increase travel time reliability, manage congestion and empower travelers. These eight sites have completed development of their ICM Concept of Operations and Requirements documents. They will each present the challenges they faced and lessons learned in a series of ICM Webinars scheduled for July 17, 22, and 24. These Webinars will cover:
1. What is ICM?
2. The goal of ICM, the primary performance measures, and the expected benefits.
3. The path to implement ICM and achieve the goals; and where each ICM Pioneer Site is on this path.
4. A discussion of the operational, institutional, and technical aspects of the ICM system for each Pioneer Site. This will include an overview of the ICM concept of operations and system requirements specifications for each Pioneer Site.
5. Lessons learned from the Pioneer Sites.
Each 3-hour Webinar will feature presentations from two or more Pioneer Sites. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and interact with the presenters. Participate in one or all three depending on your schedule and your interests.
To register online, please go to http://www.its.dot.gov/icms/icms_webinar.htm. You must register for each Webinar individually. Registration is limited to the first 150 people.
