The National Transit Institute (NTI) is presenting an advanced seminar course on “Managing the Environmental Review Process” in Seattle, Washington on August 1-2, 2007.
Managing the Environmental Review Process is a two-day course that is designed to support the efficient and effective management of environmental processes in the development and construction of transit and multi-modal transportation projects by providing current information on federal requirements, identifying best practices, and facilitating the sharing of information and insight among advanced practitioners. Seminar topics include: Overview of SAFETEA-LU Requirements; Selecting an Environmental Strategy; Challenges in Project Planning and Development; Regional Issues; Evolving Issue/Challenges; Improving the Quality of National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Documents; and Beyond the Record of Decision.
Tuition shall be waived for federal, state and local government employees who work in transportation or related areas. Fee for contractors and consultants: $295.00.
