The Federal Transit Administration issued five (5) Federal Register notices today regarding the 2007 apportionments, allocations, program information and discretionary grant programs.  Since these notices represent a departure from how FTA has conducted its grant programs in past years and identify opportunities for grantees to access new sources of FY 07 funding, we recommend that you carefully review your agency’s business needs and grant eligibility criteria and decide if you would like to submit a competitive application.

The deadline for submitting proposals under the three discretionary grant programs noted above is May 22, 2007.
