SUBJECT: Change in Department of Labor (DOL) Requirements
PROGRAM AREA:  Grant Applications
DATE:  April 14, 2005

In April, the DOL will send grants to Labor Unions by email rather than mail/fax that they have done in the past.  The DOL will collect email addresses from all of the major unions that they are currently dealing with.  However, grantees need to include in their FTA applications email addresses for very small probably independent local unions not affiliated with the major transit unions.  This information needs to be updated in TEAM under recipient information.  If you have any question please contact Federal Transit Administration at 206-220-7954.
