Triennial Review Workshop
Number 2006-07
02-15-06
REGION 10 BULLETIN NO: 06-07
SUBJECT: Triennial Review Workshop
PROGRAM AREAS: Grants
DATE: February 15, 2006
Each year, the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) holds a number of Triennial Review Workshops to provide you and other FTA grantees with up-to-date information about federal requirements and industry “best practices.” The Triennial Review covers the 5307 Urbanized Area Formula Program.
The success of the program and your feedback have led us to make the following changes in the last few years:
- The number of Workshops will grow from eleven, in FY 2005, to fourteen, in 2006
- Attendance will be capped at forty per workshop, with space prioritized to those grantees undergoing Triennial Reviews this fiscal year
Our regional workshop is scheduled for:
- March 20-21, 2006
- Renaissance Seattle
515 Madison Street
Seattle, Washington 98104
The Workshops will be conducted by industry experts who will share their knowledge of the Triennial Review Program, the latest federal regulatory changes, and the best practices in FTA Grants Management. You will also be given a comprehensive workbook that will assist you in preparing for your next Triennial Review.
I hope you will take advantage of this training opportunity. Priority will be given to the grantees with a scheduled Triennial Review this year. Grantees to be reviewed this year are listed below. We will hold 2 slots for each of these grantees and open the remainder of the slots to other 5307 grantees. If you are not going to use 2 slots per grantee, please inform our registrar so we may register our 40 slots. Seating is limited, so please make your reservations as soon as possible by returning the attached reservation form to our registrar.
Please call our registrar if you have registered and are not able to attend so we may fill your slot. We always turn people away and would like to make this training available to everyone.
I look forward to seeing you at the Workshop.
Sincerely,
/s/
