Enhanced Mobility for Seniors and Individuals With Disabilities Program
The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) published in the Federal Register Notice (FRN) on July 11, 2013 to announce the availability of the proposed guidance (in the form of a “circular”) and for the Enhanced Mobility for Seniors and Individuals With Disabilities Program and invites public comment. The purposed of this proposed circular is to implement program changes, as authorized by the Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act (MAP-21, Public Law 112-141), which blended the New Freedom Program (previously known as FTA Section 5317 program) and the Elderly Individuals and Individuals with Disabilities Program (known as FTA Section 5310 program) into the Enhanced Mobility for Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities Program (FTA Section 5310 program).
You may submit your comments by using one of the following methods. IMPORTANT: Please include the agency name (Federal Transit Administration) and identify docket number for this notice (FTA-2013-0026) at the beginning of your comments.
