The National Transit Institute (NTI) will be presenting three FREE webinars concerning Transit Asset Management in the next couple of weeks.

The Federal Transit Administrationís (FTA) goal of improved transit asset management is to implement a strategic approach for assessing needs and prioritizing investments for bringing the nationís public transit systems into a state of good repair. To assist agencies in understanding the principals of asset management and the associated requirements under MAP-21, the National Transit Institute NTI is offering a webinar series on Transit Asset Management. The webinars will focus on the application of the asset management principles to transit. The webinars are directed towards managers in the operations, maintenance, facilities and financial areas of small systems, up to 100 or 200 vehicles, including rural, paratransit, and bus/paratransit systems.
