The National Transit Institute (NTI) will be presenting two FREE webinars concerning National Transit Database (NTD) Reporting in the next couple of weeks.

2012 Changes in Urban NTD Reporting

The goal of this webinar is to review the NTD 2012 report year changes for Urbanized Area reporters. A Federal Transit Administration (FTA) representative will discuss the updates and answer questions relative to those dates. The webinar last approximately 90 minutes.

This webinar is intended for NTD reporters already familiar with the NTD's functionality and reporting process. Those not familiar with the NTD should attend NTI's National Transit Database course prior to participating in this webinar.

The webinar will be held on October 22, 2012 from 2:00-3:30 pm Eastern Time, and November 7, 2012 from 2:00-3:30 pm Eastern Time. If you are interested in attending, please follow this linkhttp://www.ntionline.com/courses/courseinfo.php?id=206 and register on line. Questions on registration, contact bvandyke@nti.rutgers.edu or 732-932-1700.

NTD system overview
Rural NTD forms (RU-10 - Agency Identification, RU-20 General Public Transit Service, RU-21 - Intercity Bus, RU-22 - Rural Recipient, RU-23 - Urban Recipient, RU-30 - Rural Public Transit Service Summary)

The webinar will be held on October 24, 2012 from 2:00-3:30 pm Eastern Time, and November 6, 2012 from 2:00-3:30 pm Eastern Time. Questions on registration, contact bvandyke@nti.rutgers.edu or 732-932-1700.

The webinar sessions will benefit State Department of Transportation (DOT) personnel responsible for completing the Rural NTD report, Tribal Transit grant recipients responsible for reporting to the Rural NTD directly, and FTA Section 5311 sub-recipients that need to provide information to their State DOTs for Rural NTD reporting. The webinars will cover the basics of who is required to report to the Rural NTD and when, followed by a detailed line-by-line explanation of the Rural NTD reporting forms.

Transit agencies that receive FTA Section 5307 Urbanized Area Formula Program Funds should not register for this webinar, as they are covered by the regular NTD reporting system and other NTD training opportunities offered by NTI.
