NTI Introduction to Metropolitan Transportation Planning Course
The National Transit Institute (NTI) is presenting a FREE course ($650 for consultants and contractors) entitled “Introduction to Metropolitan Transportation Planning” in Cleveland, Ohio on June 21-23, 2011 and in Portland, Oregon on July 26-28, 2011.
This three-day course is targeted to planning, transportation planning, programming, and project development staff working or participating in the metropolitan transportation planning process. These professionals will be from Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPO), state or local Department of Transportations (DOTs), transit agencies, or federal DOT. They may also be from state or federal resource and regulatory agencies such as Environmental Protection Agency, the Army Corps of Engineers, the US Coast Guard, the Fish and Wildlife Service, or the Park Service.
