Responsibilities in Reporting Detailed Information Quarterly
I am writing to you today to remind you of your responsibility, as a recipient of Recovery Act funds, to report detailed information quarterly regarding the use of those funds; and to urge you to register at FederalReporting.gov. The beginning of the registration period for direct jobs reporting under Section 1512 of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 was Monday, August 17, 2009. You may register by following this link to FederalReporting.gov:
Registering is the first step to reporting. Actual quarterly reporting begins on October 1, 2009 and ends on October 10, 2009. You will have an opportunity to review and correct the data you submitted during the period of October 11 through October 21, 2009.
It is important to note, however, that the information you submit during the October 1 – 10 period may be viewed by the public starting on October 11 and all changes or corrections will be tracked in the system. Thus, it is vitally important that you submit accurate information the first time.
Prior to the October 1 reporting start date, FTA will provide guidance and technical assistance to Recovery Act grant recipients needing assistance in completing their Section 1512 reporting responsibilities.
