Transit Research Funding Opportunities

Transportation Equity Research Program:  FTA is announcing three opportunities for transit research project funding through the Transportation Equity Research Program created by SAFETEA-LU. 

They are:

• Demonstration of the Benefits of Remote Infrared Audible Signage (RIAS) Technology for people who have visual, cognitive, or learning disabilities read more *
• Research on strategies to promote employment in transit construction projects by members of minority and low-income communities (DOT-FTA-EMPL) read more
• Research to assess the impacts that transportation  planning and investment operations have on minority and low-income populations (DOT-FTA-PLAN) read more
• Demonstrations of Language Assistance Programs for Limited English Efficient (DOT-FTA-LANG) read more
