4/23/2014 DBE Goals and Methodology Webinar for Region IV Grantees (with facilitated Q&A in Spanish)

This webinar is focused on the development of DBE Goals. This is webinar is primarily for FTA Grantees in Puerto Rico that have triennial DBE Goal & Methodology due on August 1, 2014 and for new DBE Liaison Officers. Anyone wishing to attend this webinar, to be presented in English with Q & A in Spanish, is welcome to participate.

El dia miércoles 23 de Abril a la 1PM EST, FTA Región IV presentará un “Webinar” enfocado en el “Desarrollo de Metas DBE” (DBE Goal & Methodology). El “Webinar” será en inglés. Sin embargo, proveeremos tiempo para dialogar y responder a sus preguntas en español. Vamos a tener una invitada especial de West Palm Beach, la Srta. Claudia Salazar, de la agencia PalmTran quien cuenta con amplia experiencia con este tema.

Los requisitos de “DBE Goal & Methodology” aplican solamente a agencias que reciben fondos de FTA para la planificación, mejoras de capital y / o asistencia para la operación de más $ 250,000 en un año fiscal federal (excluyendo las compras de vehículos de tránsito) los cuales se puedan adjudicar a contratos principales para DBEs (49 CFR Part 26.21).

  • Purpose: The purpose of the Transit Supply Chain Connectivity Forum is to bring larger transit Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and Tier 1 Suppliers of transit vehicles, such as buses and paratransit vehicles, together with smaller, qualified and interested U.S. manufacturers together in an effort to facilitate the use of a higher percentage of domestic suppliers in transit products and systems that will be funded, in whole or in part, with U.S. taxpayer dollars.
