Civil Rights Videos Training Series The Civil Rights Video Training Series was created in order to instruct FTA grantees and stakeholders on the various civil rights programs (ADA, Title VI, EEO, and DBE) administered by the office.
ADA Training

The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Office of Civil Rights will be hosting two webinars on the reasonable modification of policies and practices under U.S. Department of Transportation ADA regulations. FTA staff will provide background on, and an overview of, the new requirements. FTA will also address a number of frequently asked questions. These regulations go into effect on July 13, 2015.

These two sessions, which will cover the same content, are scheduled to be held on the following dates:

  • Thursday, July 9, 2015 from 1:00pm – 2:00pm Eastern Time
  • Tuesday, July 14, 2015; from 2:00pm – 3:00pm Eastern Time

If you are interested in attending either session, please forward your request to indicating your name, the full and unabbreviated name of the agency you represent, your agency’s 4-digit TEAM ID, and the date you wish to attend. Space for these webinars is limited. As a result, registration will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Upon registration, FTA will send you a confirmatory meeting invitation.
