|Civil Rights Videos Training Series||The Civil Rights Video Training Series was created in order to instruct FTA grantees and stakeholders on the various civil rights programs (ADA, Title VI, EEO, and DBE) administered by the office.|
The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Office of Civil Rights will be hosting two webinars on the reasonable modification of policies and practices under U.S. Department of Transportation ADA regulations. FTA staff will provide background on, and an overview of, the new requirements. FTA will also address a number of frequently asked questions. These regulations go into effect on July 13, 2015.
These two sessions, which will cover the same content, are scheduled to be held on the following dates:
If you are interested in attending either session, please forward your request to FTACivilRightsTrain@dot.gov indicating your name, the full and unabbreviated name of the agency you represent, your agency’s 4-digit TEAM ID, and the date you wish to attend. Space for these webinars is limited. As a result, registration will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Upon registration, FTA will send you a confirmatory meeting invitation.

The National Transit Institute, at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, was established under the Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act of 1991 to develop, promote, and deliver training and education programs for the public transit industry. NTI is funded by a grant from the Federal Transit Administration.
Courses in Federal Compliance are designed to help grantees understand processes and learn tools to remain or become compliant with federal regulations. Target audiences include a broad range of titles and skill sets from paratransit operations managers, to trainers, construction managers, and project finance professionals.
