Travel Forecasting for New Starts Proposals – June 2006.  The Federal Transit Administration’s Office of Planning and Environment sponsored a two-day workshop June 15 & 16, 2006, at the Millennium Hotel in Minneapolis. 

Travel Forecasting for New Starts Proposals – September 2007.  The Federal Transit Administration’s Office of Planning and Environment sponsored a two-day workshop September 19 & 20, 2007 at the Adam’s Mark Hotel in St. Louis, Missouri. 

Other Relevant Presentations.

New Starts Forecasting Email Listserv.  FTA’s Office of Planning and Environment is managing an email listserv intended to foster discussion of data collection, model specifications, validation methods, quality control, and other key elements of travel forecasting related specifically to New/Small Starts transit projects.
