The New Mexico Department of Transportation will receive $9.7 million to provide transit capital items to non-urbanized areas in the state, including the purchase of 32 buses and 31 vans, bus stop signs, bus stop benches, bus passenger shelters, computer equipment, surveillance equipment, and radios. Funds will also be used to construct or rehabilitate an intermodal terminal, storage facility, maintenance facility, and parking areas.

The City of Farmington will receive $790,312 to replace four 32-foot trolley-type buses, two vans and two small buses that have exceeded their useful lives.
