Grants are being awarded as follows:
• City of Detroit Department of Transportation: $18.9 million to purchase 42 40-foot low-floor diesel replacement buses; four 40-foot low-floor hybrid electric replacement buses and operating assistance;
• Michigan Department of Transportation: $12.4 million to purchase 12 buses; facility renovations; miscellaneous support equipment, and operating assistance;
• Michigan Department of Transportation: $524,072 for three vans; facility improvements; bus shelters and miscellaneous equipment.
• Michigan Department of Transportation: $167,820 to modify buses with mini-hybrid components.
