[Name of Transit Agency] Launches Bus Campaign in Observance of National Moment of Remembrance

In honor of the sacrifices our fallen heroes have made for our freedoms, [Name of Transit Agency] has unveiled a transit advertising campaign entitled “One Nation. One Moment To Reflect.”

In partnership with the White House Commission on the National Moment of Remembrance, [Name of Transit Agency] will display messages on buses and bus shelters urging local residents to pause at 3 p.m. on May 28 to remember those who have given their lives in service to their country.  The graphics developed by the Federal Transit Administration are free and available to transit agencies across the country.

Insert quote from Agency head.

Provide details, such as number of buses, routes, location of shelters, etc.

The White House Commission on the National Moment of Remembrance is dedicated to educating Americans on the many sacrifices our soldiers made to preserve our liberties, and to instilling in them an understanding of what it means to be an American.

Graphics for the transit advertising campaign can be downloaded at http://www.fta.dot.gov/.  The campaign is part of a U.S. Department of Transportation-wide effort to observe and promote the National Moment of Remembrance.
