IL: $450,000 - Champaign-Urbana (TIGGER Grant)

CUMTD will use the $450,000 grant to replace the existing conventional air conditioning-heating system with an efficient geothermal system.  Geothermal systems are highly effective system with improved efficiencies over conventional systems due to the heat exchange process with an underground source that maintains a near constant temperature.
