Changes to Grants

Q.When the City of Tucson submitted a grant for vehicles, the person handling the fleet status stated we needed 46 expansion vans and that was what was submitted on the grant. After the grant was awarded it was discovered that the need vehicles were not for 46 expansion vans but a mixture of replacement vans and expansion vans. We will be purchasing the exact same number of vans using the exact same amount of funds just putting them into the fleet differently. Can we change the mix of vans from what was listed on the grant but leave the amount of vans and funding the same?

The person who made the misjudgment on the mixture of vans is no long employed with the company. The new person has an exact fleet status that has been checked.

A. You will need to present this question to your FTA regional grant manager. The regions normally have several grants managers. Some assign projects to managers individually while some of the regions assign a whole state to a manager and have that manager pick up anything that comes in from their state(s). If you look at your grant in the TEAM system, it will identify an FTA manager.
