administrative/maintenance facilities, storage facilities, computers, and other support equip. Electrif./ Power Dist. includes traction power, AC power lighting, substation distribution,

vehicle locator systems. Signal/Communic. includes train control / signal systems, communications systems, radios. Other includes contingencies, real estate, administration, contracts.

Rolling Stock Purchases includes rail cars and spare parts. Rolling Stock Rehab includes rehabilitation and mid-life rebuild. Rolling Stock Other includes vehicle overhaul and design.

Fixed Guideway funds used for bus purchases are shown in the Other category: Dallas (-1, -$168,400); Honolulu (5, $1,248,800); Minneapolis-St. Paul (17, $3,652,869; spare pts $299,450);

Tacoma (2, $584,021).

Funds obligated for Preventive Maintenance are included in the Other category: Dayton (bus - $1,200,000), Miami (rail - $3,005,600)

Other funds for Seattle were for the purchase of a ferry (supplemental funds).
