Upcoming TVM Webinars
The FTA Office of Civil Rights is hosting two web-based training sessions this month on TVM DBE Goal Methodology, along with two sessions in May on TVM DBE Reporting. FTA highly recommends that every TVM, and those interested in becoming a certified TVM, participate in at least one April and May training.
The dates for these four trainings are as follows:
• Goal Methodology: Wednesday, April 23, 2014, from 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm ET
To register for any of these sessions, please send an email message to FTADBETraining@dot.gov. Within your message, please include your name, the TVM or organization you represent, and the dates you wish to attend.
National Transit Institute (NTI) Course Offerings
The National Transit Institute, at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, was established under the Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act of 1991 to develop, promote, and deliver training and education programs for the public transit industry. NTI is funded by a grant from the Federal Transit Administration.
Courses in Federal Compliance are designed to help grantees understand processes and learn tools to remain or become compliant with federal regulations. Target audiences include a broad range of titles and skill sets from paratransit operations managers, to trainers, construction managers, and project finance professionals.
