Fourth State of Good Repair Roundtable

The Fourth FTA State of Good Repair Roundtable meeting was held in Philadelphia Pennsylvania from July 16-18, 2012 with support from the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA). There were about 100 participants including representatives from over 40 transit agencies, consultants and FTA employees.

The roundtable focused on the following areas of discussion:

  • New Requirements for Public Transit Under MAP 21
  • Best Practices for Managing Asset Life Cycle Costs
  • Asset Condition Inspection and Rating Techniques
  • Asset Management System Implementation and Integration
  • Organizational Needs and Building Management Support for Effective Asset Management
