| Interagency cooperation |
The project is coordinated through the Alameda County Congestion Management Agency (ACCMA), the lead agency responsible for design, implementation, and operations of the San Pablo SMART Corridor. The ACCMA established a Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) and Policy Advisory Committee (PAC). The TAC is composed of staff from the seven cities, Caltrans, ACCMA, MTC, AC Transit, BART, Port of Oakland, and other agencies. |

AC Transit staff includes a Project Manager who coordinates with an in-house Drivers Committee, Maintenance, Marketing, Operations, Planning, and Training Departments. |

Headway-based, utilizes Opticom system. Opticom systems are typically used by emergency vehicles such as firetrucks to expedite movement through traffic lights. |
