Following an incident in which a concrete mixer lorry fell off a bridge on top of a South West Trains Class 455 Unit (Unit number 5913).
South West Trains have arranged for a preliminary structural inspection to be carried out on this unit and a detailed report to be produced on the details of the damage identified. This report will form the basis of the scope of work that will be used for the proposed invitation to tender process.
